Anti-drug group to outline upcoming plans

Editor’s Note: This story has been updated with corrected information on the purpose of the presentation.

The Bartholomew County Council will be holding their monthly meeting early tomorrow night so they can hear an update on the local drug epidemic and a treatment option.

The Council normally meets at 6 p.m. in the evening but is moving the meeting to 5 p.m. in part because they have a lot of material to cover for their last meeting of the year, but that to include time for a presentation by the Alliance for Substance Abuse Progress in Bartholomew County. The group is expected to make a presentation on a public funding model on governance for when ASAP makes later program recommendations.

The council will meet at 5 p.m. tomorrow afternoon at their chambers in the Bartholomew County Governmental Office building on Third Street.
