Seymour store owner arrested in child molesting investigation

The owner and operator of a Seymour convenience store is facing child molesting charges after an incident in the store.

Seymour police report that they arrested 33-year-old Amandeep “Armani” Singh after an investigation that started last Thursday. TV station WLKY in Louisville is reporting that Sing allegedly cornered and assaulted a girl in the cooler at the store he owns on North Ewing Street.

Police say that they have served a search warrant and taken surveillance equipment and recordings from the store into evidence.

Singh is facing preliminary charges of sexual misconduct with minor and criminal confinement.
